I first started getting into antiques when my cousin, artist james strickland,
gave me my first real woodworking tools somewhere around 1973. I began earning
a little spending money repairing sculptures and furiture shortly there after.
most of the stuff I work on now comes from my friends Laurie and Susan's
"Antiquities Workshop" , and a private collector friend , Linda....Linda's house is
filled with a fab-u-las collection of spanish, italian, portegese, and such all
from the 13th to 17th centuries.I've done alot of detailed inlay, marquetry and
ingraving, as well as heat forging iron keys, locks, and escossions.
